Tagged - 8 Random Facts About Me.

Fri Aug 17, 2007, 7:31 PM
Well, I was tagged by :icondboywheeler: , and this journal is rather dusty and unused, so I'll update it by listing 8 random facts about myself that I'm sure everyone is just DYING to hear, LOL. ;D
This is probably redundant to a previous journal entry I made on October 16th, 2005, but ah well... I was tagged. :P

1) I love Pepsi. To the point of "I Drink at Least One Can, Usually More, Every Day." Wait, I should probably change that to "I'm Hopelessly Addicted to Pepsi". In addition, I get irritated when I go to a restaurant and they just have Coke. In fact, I've been known to pick restaurants based on the fact that They Serve Pepsi.

2) I love Big Bugs. Especially Beetles. The bigger, the better. I think they're fascinating! I'd love to be able to find an Eastern Hercules Beetle one day. Or to one day go to the rain forest and find a Goliath Beetle.

3) I am terrified of most spiders. I don't mind Tarantulas, because they are large, have lots of fur, and have retractable claws and paw-pads like a cat. But I hate pointy-feeted, big-assed spiders such as Orb Weavers that build huge webs at face-level so that you walk right into them and get a faceful of web. UGH. Ugh. UGH! IN fact, I think I hate webs more than the actual spider.

4) I now live in a Fifth-Wheel Trailer in Central Florida. Yes, my home has wheels. Yes, just like the Jeff Foxworthy redneck joke "If your richest relative just bought a new home, and you have to come help take the tires off... you just might be a redneck".

5) When I'm driving, I don't like cars in front of me. I like to be able to really see....faaaarrrrr down the road. I also don't like being behind large trucks or semi's.

6) I'm not getting any younger in life. I'm 35 years old, going on 36, this September.

7) I have owned exactly two vehicles in my life: Both of them were/are White 1991 Nissan pick-up trucks. My current 1991 Nissan pick-up has over 125,000 miles on it.

8) I enjoy fishing, but only if I'm catching fish. I get really irritated and bored just drowning worms. The biggest fish I've ever caught was a huge Mudfish that weighed around 9 lbs. He had huge teeth, and I caught him on a nightcrawler. He took the worm on the cast as it was sinking and ran with it so fast, my line was buzzing.

On another note, I find it highly amusing that DA has a mood icon entitled "I Have To Pee".
Of course, I couldn't NOT use it. =D

Hey, we have a good deal in common, 2 cars that are ancient, like big bugs and don't mind tarantulas, and I have to have a good deal of distance between me and other cars, people are always cutting in front of me because I leave room there.

Tarantulas are sort of "cute" but I'd still shit a few bricks if I came across one.

Spiders scare me, no matter how small. :(

Problem solved.
Meow there.
DA should have a contest for new moods.

something discreet, witty...
after certian experiances, I have been traumatized by spiders, grasshoppers, praying mantis', and other ugly-ass bugs.

I'd been curious about fishing for sometime now...is it easy to fish? :) Any suggestions/hints to a newbie? :)

About no. 5 -- I think everyone gets scared when behind trucks/semis on the road. But if you want to know real fear, then drive through a midwest highway and watch them go flying by at 80-100 MPH! With 2-3 trailers yet.
