Cleaning Up, Getting rid of art.
Journal Entry: Sun Mar 30, 2008, 8:14 PM
Took a look through my art gallery here on DA.
Decided that I'm getting rid of a lot of the art.
So I'll be cleaning out my gallery now. Eh. I feel invisible anyway.

Your post sounds very sad, if there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.

If you come back after a lot of the anxiety in your life has died down, and STILL want to remove the art, then more power to you, but...
...I speak as an artist who has destroyed far too much of his own art. Please at least think more about it before you do.

My advice for learning how to use color: Paint an orange.

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
Please don't empty your gallery...
You're my fav artist...
you inspired me to become a furry artist...
I'll miss your art if you remove them completely...
...and how can you be invisible with 88331 page views?
it's more than 100% of what I've got...
...but if you really must "clean up your gallery", can you please keep your art in another one?
Or just move them to scraps?
Whatever you decide to do, I'm behind ya all the way
'cause you're my inspiration as an artist and I'll be praying for you

When a heart is frozen...
A LOT of folks watch very talented deviants like yourself because of those "old" things you put up and whether you consider them to be "good" or not, they were obviously great enough to gather a collection of fans
Just something to think about. When I look through a deviant gallery I love seeing older work in addition to new stuff because it gives me a stronger impression of who the artist is and what they've done to further their art. Techniques might be learned, styles come and go. It's a historical aspect to many galleries, and you're not the first person I follow who's wanted to remove a bunch of stuff - but... please do consider keeping it in a folder labeled appropriately so we can still enjoy the works we have always loved.

By Grace I have been set free; by Grace I shall then live.
It's more like 'cleaning out the very messy closet and tossing stuff that no one uses'.
